Romeo Zondervan

Zondervan moved to England coming from Dutch football club, FC Twente for a fee of £225,000 to midlands club, West Bromwich Albion. After three consistent years playing for Albion, he moved on to sign for Ipswich town for £70,000 and he soon established himself in the Ipswich Town first eleven. In total he earned 6 international caps playing for Holland.

Chris Kiwomya

After coming through the ranks as a youngster at Barnsley he signed for Ipswich town at the age of 17 years old and soon established himself in the Ipswich starting eleven. He was an integral part of the Ipswich side that gained promotion in to the premiership at the end of the 1991 – 1992 season as they finished top of the second division.

Brian Gayle

Gayle started his career off playing for Wimbledon in 1984, spending four years at the club. After a successful four year spell at the dons he moved up north to play for Manchester City in 1988. He soon made his presence felt in the Manchester city side and signed for Ipswich Town in the summer of 1990 for a club record fee of £300,000. He soon became club captain at the Ipswich and was a widely regarded strong tackling defender.
