Jason Dozzel
Dozzel had barley left school when he made the grade in the Ipswich town side at the age of 16 years old. He soon established himself in the first team and during the early years with the Blues he was place in the England under 21 squad. He went on to make around 300 appearances for the blues in league and cup matches and helped Ipswich to winning the second division title at the end of the 1991 – 1992 campaign. He later on played for Tottenham Hotspur.

Tony Humes

Humes began his playing career at Ipswich Town in 1985 and went on to play for the club on over 150 occasions and scored 12 goals in his seven year spell with Ipswich. After his fine period at Ipswich, he moved on to sign for Wrexham for £40,000 in March 1992. At Wrexham he went on to make nearly 250 appearances for the club. He is one of the finest ever defenders to have emerged from Ipswich Town FC.

George Burley

Burley began his football career playing for Ipswich town in 1974 and went on to spend an unbelievable 13 years with the club, making over 500 appearances for the Tractor boys. After his long successful spell with the club he moved on to sign for Sunderland before enjoying spells playing for Gillingham and Motherwell. In 1993 he moved on to play for Falkirk before becoming player coach of Colchester united.
