Colin Viljoen

Viljoen spent the vast majority of his playing career with Ipswich Town during the 1970’s and the 1980’s. His fine performances at the club helped Ipswich win the 1978 FA Cup final and win the 1981 UEFA CUP. He went on to make over 300 appearances playing for the club and earned two caps representing the English national football side. He scored more than fifty goals for the Portman Road club.

 

Brian Talbot

Talbot turned professional in the year 1972 and made his debut for Ipswich Town in the same year. He soon became a permanent fixture in the Ipswich starting eleven and helped the club reach the 1978 FA Cup final. His fine play at Portman Road earned him a move to Arsenal in January 1979 for a staggering £450,000. At Arsenal, he won the FA Cup in 1980 and reached the final of the European Cup winners Cup. He later on finished his career off playing for Watford, Stoke City, West Brom, Fulham and Aldershot.
