Tommy Carroll

After starting out his playing career with Cambridge City, Carroll move on to play for Ipswich Town in the year 1966 and spent six seasons playing in his right back position at Portman Road before signing for Birmingham City in the year 1972. He also represented the English national football team on 17 occasions and later on went in to management, being installed as the manager at Shelbourne F.C during the 1975 – 1976 league season.
